WHO WE ARE

Built from the inside

It was 2023. Istanbul. A British brother and a German brother, sitting over coffee overlooking the Bosphorus, talking about what it actually meant to find a spouse the right way. Both had tried the apps. Both had seen what they were. And both agreed — someone needed to build something better.
They were joined later by an American brother who had the same story, the same frustrations, and the same conviction.
That conversation became Mithaq.

They thought about their sisters. If their sister was looking for a husband — what would they want for her? They wouldn’t want her photo browsed by strangers. They wouldn’t want unknown men sliding into her inbox. They wouldn’t want her data sitting on a server owned by people who profit from her staying single. They wouldn’t want her to feel like she was on display.

They would want her to be approached with intention. By someone serious. Through a process that protected her dignity at every step — with her wali involved from the start, not called in at the end as a formality.

Not a startup chasing growth metrics. Not an algorithm optimised for retention. A service built on a single principle: that marriage is a mithaqan ghaleeza — a solemn, weighty covenant — and it deserves to be treated like one from the very first step.
That is what this is.
